Iowa Western Women's Soccer Camps provide players and teams with a competitive and educational experience. Our goal is to teach the game by building fundamentals that apply to players at all levels. Campers will be run through Division I drills designed to develop skills, vision, and competency. All drills and activities are geared to prepare each camper at their specific age for competition at the highest level.
Those attending Iowa Western Women's Soccer Camp will work with our experienced coaching staff as well as college level players. Sessions will be a balance of instruction, skills, game experience, and fun. Attendees will learn the latest methods in training & technique.
Iowa Western Women's Soccer Summer Camp
Session I June 12th - June 15th
Session II July 31st - August 3rd
Reiver Rascals (Ages 3-5)
Campers are introduced to the very basic elements of the game. Sessions are composed of fun, imaginitive activities that teach soccer's fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, and passing. The goal is for the player to fall in love with the sport and the ball in a fun, friendly environment.
Session Duration: 45 minutes; 9AM - 9:45AM; Mon-Thurs
Reiver Academy (Ages 6-8)
Sessions are based on teaching fundamentals through fun activitiy based games. Sessions include fundamental skill instruction, skill-building activities, and small-sided games. Throughout the week players will learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, defending, and shielding. The Academy goal is skill acquisition in a fun environment.
Session Duration: 2 hrs; 8AM - 10AM; Mon-Thurs
Reiver Youth/Club (Ages: 9-14)
Designed to prepare youth for their upcoming youth seasons. The emphasis of each session is designed for individual skill development, improvement of basic fundamentals, and application of technique in small-sided games. The Youth/Club Level's goal is for players to enhance their overall skill in a fun, competitive environment.
Session Duration: 2 hrs; 8AM-10AM; Mon-Thurs.
All of our camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, and/or grade level).
