Chad Ogden will begin his second year with the Reiver baseball program.  Ogden is in charge of the infielders as well as helping out with the hitters. Ogden will assume the head role over the JV program at Iowa Western along with being the infield coach.

Prior to being signed by the Texas Rangers in 2007, Ogden spent two years at Creighton University. While at Creighton Ogden lead the Bluejays to their first Missouri Valley Tournament title and was named 1st Team Missouri Valley Conference along with 1st Team All Region. Ogden got his college career started with two years at Cowley County Community College where his team went 89-31 in two years. Ogden was named Region VI Defensive Player of the Year and was 1st Team All-Jayhawk Conference both years.
