Kansas City, Mo. native Josh Taylor enters his second year as IWCC Spirit Coordinator. A 2006 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University where he was a collegiate cheerleader for five years, Taylor brings almost a decade of experience to IWCC as a cheerleader and coach. He is an eight-year veteran head instructor and college staff instructor with Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA). At the collegiate level, Taylor was the cheerleading coach for William Jewel College and the University of Missouri. He has taught over 100,000 cheerleaders worldwide from New York to California and from London, England, Argentina and Chile. In addition, Taylor has choreographed for numerous high school and college teams leading to 11 state championships and four national championships. Taylor is ACCAA certified. In his first year as head coach Taylor lead the Reiver Cheerleaders to a best ever 11th place finish at the National Championships. The cheer squad has participated at nationals since the program’s inception in 2004.
