Tim Walker is in his first year as the men’s and women’s goalkeeping coach at Iowa Western Community College. Coach Walker has been coaching teams and training goalkeepers since 2007. Currently, he is the head boy’s soccer coach for Omaha North High School, an assistant coach with Omaha Football Club, and a goalkeeper trainer for Viva Soccer Club. Coach Walker played college soccer for two years at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and received two All-American honorable mention awards: the first in 2003 as a goalkeeper and the second in 2004 as a defender. Before going onto college, he played for Nebraska Futbol Club. Coach Walker is also in the process of obtaining his State Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as well as the National “D” coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation.
