IWCC came out victorious over Dakota County Technical College winning 3-1 and gained yet another Region XI Championship Title.

Tori von Mende led the Reivers to their 3-1 victory tallying 2 goals. The first goal came in the 25th minute. Defender Jenna Brady made a run up the left flank of the field, dribbled the end line and found von Mende at the top of the six who placed the ball in the bottom right pocket of the frame.

In the 59th IWCC was awarded a free kick after a foul was committed by DCTC. Lyndie Heaps took the kick and placed a driven ball onto Tori von Mende's head in the goal box. Von Mende capitalized and pushed the Reivers ahead 2-0. DCTC answered back in the 81st minute. Anna Woerle took a free kick on frame and scored. IWCC goalkeeper Kelci Little seemed to have the shot saved but couldn't get a firm hold on the ball. DCTC advanced the score 2-1. IWCC didn't let the goal bring them down. The Reiver's scored a minute later. Freshman Chamea Palmer sent a flighted ball far post to a wide open Ellie Stimpson. Stimpson placed the ball over DCTC's goalkeeper into the frame. Final score: IWCC 3 DCTC 1.
