Iowa Western Men's Soccer had their first of two matches of the regular season against region rivals, Iowa Central.  The only goal was recorded in the 2nd half as Iowa Central snuck in behind the Reivers defense.  The Reivers had an excellent opportunity to tie the game up when forward, Craig Butcher, struck the inside of the post with a powerful shot from outside the box.  The game went back and forth with the result in favor of Iowa Central.  The Reivers look to bounce back from this loss as they face Indian Hills this Saturday.
