No. 7 ranked IWCC Women's Soccer kicked off their 2009 season opener with a 3-1 win over No.10  ranked Laramie County Community College.

In the 6th minute, IWCC's Chamea Palmer found the back of the net from a through ball by Canada Clawson, pushing the Reivers 1-nil over LCCC Eagles.

In the 50th minute, Canada Clawson switched the field and found an open Chamea Palmer resulting in a 1v1 with LCCC's goalkeeper. Palmer finished, advancing the Reivers 2-nil.

In the 65th minute, Chamea Palmer found Ellie Stimpson on the back post who drilled the ball in the back of the Eagle’s frame, pushing the Reivers up 3-nil.

In the 70th minute LCCC Juilana Natal scored off a set piece advancing the game score 3-1 Reivers.
