IWCC Women's Soccer mark up their second win of the season with a 4-0 victory over the Iowa Central Tritons.
Only 11 minutes into the contest, Canada Clawson received a poor clearance out of the Tritons penalty area. Canada beat her opposition to the end line and serviced a perfect pass to an oncoming Tori von Mende who tucked the ball away into the side netting of the Tritons goal, putting the Reivers ahead 1-0.
Four minutes later, Shelbey Warren found Chamea Palmer on a crossed ball. Chamea collected the the ball, dribbled a couple Triton defenders and unleashed a shot that ripped across the top of the Triton's net, putting the Reivers ahead 2-0 going into the 2nd half.
In the 55th minute, Palmer would score again after receiving a through ball from von Mende at the top of the Triton's penalty area. Palmer beat the final defender and slotted the ball just beyond the outreached hands of the Triton goalkeeper pushing the Reivers to a 3-0 lead.
The Reiver's final goal would come in the 66th minute when Jenna Brady collected a ball near the mid-stripe on a clearance from the Triton penalty area. Brady received the ball well and pushed it ahead 35 yards before ripping a shot from 25 yards out that dropped into the Triton goal just below the crossbar.
