IWCC Women's Soccer pushed their record to 5-0 with a 3-0 win over Johnson County Community College.

Tori Von Mende started the Reivers off in the 3rd minute when she received a ball from Chamea Palmer in the box.  Von Mende was able to turn her defender and score a nicely placed ball into the side netting, advancing the Reivers 1-0.

In the 6th minute Shelbey Warren fed a ball tino Chamea Palmer from the outside. Palmer took a shot at frame, bouncing the ball off  theJohnson County's goalkeeper. The ball glanced back to Palmer’s feet where she placed the ball in the back of the net, pushing the Reivers up 2-0.

In the 42nd minute IWCC was rewarded a free kick after a foul called against Johnson County. Shelbey Warren took the kick placing it far post where an awaiting Ellie Stimpson redirected the ball with her head into the back of the JCCC net, send the Reivers into the half with a 3-0 lead.

With a sloppy and slow 2nd half and with high pressure from a determined Johnson County team, the Reivers were still able to maintain a shutout due to IWCC’s defense and stellar goalkeeping in Kelci Little. Little and her defense tallied the 4th consecutive shutout.
