The Reivers host Sophomore Night and last Regular Season Home Game

Iowa Western hosted their last regular season home game against North Dakota State College of Science on Sophomore Night, yesterday February 23rd in Kanesville Arena. Reivers honored its 3 sophomores Alicia Mountain, Lade Adepoju, and Melis Ucar prior to the dual.


The 57-56 buzzer beater win over NDSCS last night put Reivers on a 5-0 win streak. Sophomore Lade Adepoju went 6-7 from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line ending the game with 15 points. Freshman Jazza Johns hit the buzzer beater shot at the end of the game to make the Reivers go up 1.  


Iowa Western has a 21-8 record for the season and 12- 1 home record. “Seeing these girls develop in the last two years has been amazing, on and off the court they have matured so much. I hope I get a chance to continue to see them grow through March!” Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef stated.  


The Reivers recently defeated Northeast Community College on February 18th in a 59-57 victory landing them the opportunity to host upcoming Region XI Championship game on March 4th.
