The Reiver Cheerleading squad is made up 26-30 student athletes who's season runs from August through April. The team does attend UCA College Nationals in Walt Disney World, FL.

The Reiver Cheerleaders cheer for all home football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball games. In addition The Reiver Cheerleaders support all other sports at Iowa Western. Scholarships are available and will be awarded to members of the squad. Scholarships are based on talent level and need. All scholarships are finalized during tryouts.
