Iowa Western Prospect Showcase

The 2010 Junior College World Series Champions will hold their annual prospect showcase on August 29th and September 12th in the fall of 2010. This showcase is for current juniors and seniors. The showcase will be held at Doc Ross Field on Iowa Western’s Campus. There will be two separate camps run on each date. One will be from 9:00 am – 1 pm and the second from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The Reiver Coaching staff and players will run the camps. College coaches from surrounding areas will also be invited to the showcase. The fee for this showcase will be $75. Each player will go through a pro-style type workout. The following will be done at this workout: 60 times, throwing from the outfield/infield, catcher’s pop times, a round of batting practice, and ending with a scrimmage. Every player will get multiple at bats and each pitcher will throw 20 pitches. There will be a maximum of 40 players at each camp and will be first come first serve.
